Our Location

The new Burnside Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon in the peaceful village of Shottery just 5 minutes’ drive from the centre and where you will also find Anne Hathaway’s cottage.

Synonymous with Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon is ever popular attracting local and overseas visitors alike. Its ideal location at the heart of England makes it easily accessible as a tourist destination, for meeting up with friends and family, or as a central location for business travellers.

There are five significant Shakespeare locations to visit and Royal Shakespeare Company productions are also a major attraction with a varied programme of seasonal performances across the 3 separate RSC theatres.

If you’re visiting Stratford Upon Avon for the first time we can arrange a chauffeured car to assist you or alternatively, an open top bus ride or a river boat tour are good ways to take in the flavour of the town and see Stratford from different viewpoints.
