The 2019 annual Stratford River Festival takes place over the weekend of 6/7th July where the River Avon and surrounding areas come alive! This Award Winning festival features hundreds of stalls, exhibitors and plenty to entertain you!
The festival takes place over the Saturday and Sunday with lots going on throughout the day and in to the evening including live music ranging from morris to jazz and all styles in between! Live acts perform throughout the Festival days on both The Bandstand and Acoustic Stage.
The place come alive with a delicious choice of global street foods, local ales and Pimms and Prosecco bars and many static narrow boats moored along the river banks and decorated for the occasion!
The festival includes many fun activities for all ages in the Family & Charity area and there is an amazing craft market with a diverse range of wares available. Following a Blues Brothers style extravaganza, the Saturday culminates in a stunning firework display at 10.15pm, which can be seen for miles!
The River Festival is funded by the Stratford town centre businesses who are members of the Stratford-upon-Avon Business Improvement District.
Stratford has a great selection of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions as well as high street stores just a five minute walk across the bridge that you can browse during your visit and indulge in some retail therapy!
