Meet the Team!

It has been a while in the making, but as the new Burnside Hotel opens its doors to guests for the first time, I am delighted to introduce myself and my Management Team.

Lee Chatwin

I am the General Manager of the new Burnside Hotel, with 18 years’ experience in the hospitality and tourism sector. I can’t wait to get this show on the road and start welcoming guests to our fabulous new hotel.  I have spent the last few weeks interviewing, recruiting and training a superb team ready to be on hand to spoil you when you visit us. Let me introduce them:

Sarah Woods

Sarah is Reception Manager and Wedding Coordinator at Burnside Hotel. Sarah has a background in hospitality, events management and fine art and has been closely involved in the selection of the individual artworks around Burnside Hotel and bringing the Shakespeare theme to life in the individual pieces you will find throughout the hotel.

Adam Cherrington

Adam is our Executive Chef and his team will be whipping up a storm in their brand new kitchen. Adam will be bringing his flair and skill to the menus at Burnside Hotel, serving elegant and varied food made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Look out for a few surprises too – the kitchen has its very own tandoor and we have some unique dishes for you to try!

Susan Brooke

We are delighted to have Susan as Head of Housekeeping at Burnside Hotel. Susan brings 25 years’ experience in housekeeping where she has predominantly worked in 4 star hotels. There is little about Housekeeping that Susan doesn’t know and we are confident that her strong knowledge and very high standards will be a fantastic asset to ensuring guest comfort and service at Burnside Hotel.
